Abstract: 

Background and aim: Diabetes mellitus is a Metabolic disease with multiple complications. Skin Tag is a pedunculated papule, which is more common in women and has been suggested as a cutaneous marker of diabetes mellitus. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of diabetes mellitus in patients with skin Tags.Materials and methods: This descriptive study was done on 100 patients with skin Tags. The investigation included fasting blood sugar (FBS) and glucose tolerance test (OTT).Results: 66 patients had normal FBS, 27 had diabetes mellitus, 5 had impaired OTT and 2 had impaired fasting glucose. Over all, 34 had abnormal glucose Metabolism, 7 were unaware of their Metabolic abnormality. Among 40 hospitalized patients 50% had abnormal glucose Metabolism meanwhile 23.3% of 60 outpatients had this abnormality (p<0.01). No association was seen between BMI, obesity, gender, location and number of skin Tags with abnormal Metabolism of glucose.Conclusion: It is recommended to consider skin Tags as a cetaceous marker for abnormality of glucose Metabolism.

Abstract: 

THERE ARE SEVERAL TOOLS TO ACCESS INFORMATION ON A SOCIAL NETWORK. ONE IMPORTANT AND USEFUL TOOL TO ACCESS THE INFORMATION IS Tag CLOUD. THE TASK OF THIS TOOL IS CHOOSING A LIMITED NUMBER OF TagS IN A SOCIAL NETWORK AND OTHER SOCIAL WEBSITES. SEVERAL APPROACHES HAVE BEEN PROPOSED FOR Tag SELECTION. THESE APPROACHES ARE BASED ON CONTENT OF TagS, WHERE NONE OF THEM CONSIDER DIFFERENT PREFERENCES OF THE USERS. IN THIS PAPER, A Tag CHOOSING APPROACH FOR Tag CLOUD IS PROPOSED WHICH TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE USERS PREFERENCES. MOREOVER, WE PROPOSE TWO NEW METRICS NAMELY USER COVERAGE AND USER OVERLAP. FINALLY, WE EXPERIMENT WITH THE PROPOSED APPROACH AND THE PREVIOUS APPROACHES ON THE DELICIOUS DATASET. RESULTS SHOWED THAT USER COVERAGE AND USER OVERLAP METRICS IN THE PROPOSED APPROACH WERE BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS APPROACHES. IN FACT, THE PROPOSED METHOD COVER MORE USERS WITH LOW OVERLAP.

Abstract: 

Due to the information overload on the World Wide Web, the user suffers from difficulty in selecting items. Social cataloging services allow users to use products or services and share their opinions and experiences, which are effective not only for themselves, but also for other users. Considering user behavior and product features as the two determining factors, recommender systems have significantly influenced the item selection process. In this paper, according to the emotions reflected in the user Tags, a Tag-based recommendation method is proposed. The method works in the following way: information related to these emotions, along with other information received from the user as well as the content information of the items results in obtaining the degree of similarity between them. This process ultimately helps to improve the performance of the recommender systems. Testing the abovementioned process on a real database, namely Movielense, showed that the proposed method performed better than previous ones and has reduced errors and increased accuracy in predicting ratings.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Skin Tags are small, benign, soft and pedunculated skin tumors. A possible association with impaired carbohydrate Metabolism has been suggested in previous studies, but the results are not conclusive. This study was performed in order to determine association between skin Tag and diabetes mellitus.Materials and Methods: This study was carried out on 80 patients with skin Tags as a case group and 80 patients without skin Tags as a control group that they were referred to Semnan dermatological clinics. Then fasting blood sugar (FBS) were checked out in both two groups. In addition, height and weight were measured in all patients and body mass index (BMI) calculated for each of the patient.Results: 43.8% and 55% of patients were respectively female in the case group and the control group.Age mean (±SD) was 44.3±16.6 and 37.3±18.9 years in the case and control group, respectively. BMI mean (±SD) index was 28.0±4.3kg/m2 in the patients with skin Tag, whereas, it was 25.5±5.1 kg/m² in the patients without skin Tag (P=0.001). Patients with skin Tag had higher frequency of diabetes than patients in the control group (27.5% vs.5%) and also the case group showed a higher frequency of pre diabetes than the control group (20% vs.15%). The probability of presence of diabetes mellitus in the patients with skin Tag was 6.82 times more than the patients in the control group (Odds ratio=6.82, 95% Confidence interval: 2.06-22.56, P=0.002).Conclusion: Our data suggest that there is an association between skin Tag and diabetes mellitus. Therefore, screening of patients with skin Tag is recommended for early diagnosis diabetes mellitus.

Abstract: 

برنامه ریزی راهبردی به عنوان یک ابزار جهت انجام بهتر فعالیت ها و رسیدن به اهداف مطلوب در آینده و در راستای اهداف تعیین شده به کار می رود. برنامه ریزی راهبردی می تواند به عنوان پاسخی به مشکلات پیش آمده در صنعت گردشگری نیز مطرح شود. در هسته گردشگری مانند تمام فعالیت های تجاری دیگر باید «راهبرد گردشگری» تجسم یابد. از جمله مدل های برنامه ریزی راهبردی مورد استفاده در توسعه گردشگری به ویژه در گردشگری شهری، مدل سنتی SWOT است. امروزه پس از سال ها استفاده و ارزیابی از این مدل کاربردی این نتیجه حاصل شده که SWOT مبتنی بر الهامات ذهنی و غیرسیستماتیک است، (داده های کیفی) و از سوی دیگر از کمی سازی اجتناب کرده و همچنین فاقد قدرت پیش بینی است. مدل Meta-SWOT در یک برنامه متشکل از پنجره عنوان و هفت پنجره به هم پیوسته اجرا می شود. هدف آن رهنمون ساختن تصمیم گیرندگان در فرایندی یک پارچه از مرحله اولیه توفان مغزی به ایجاد فهرست رتبه بندی شده ای از اولویت های استراتژیک است. این ابزار بازبینی های نامحدود نهاده ها را امکان پذیر می کند، زیرا افراد تصمیم گیرنده ارزیابی خود را در طول یک فعالیت برنامه ریزی تغییر می دهند. این پژوهش با هدف توسعه گردشگری در شهر یزد برای نخستین بار به معرفی مدل استراتژیکMeta-SWOT در امر گردشگری شهری پرداخته است. جهت انجام این پژوهش از روش توصیفی-تحلیلی استفاده شده و روش گردآوری داده ها و تحلیل اطلاعات مورد نیاز به صورت اسنادی و پیمایشی است. جهت تدویناستراتژی توسعه و تشریح اهداف، منابع، توانایی ها و عوامل کلان محیطی از تکنیک تحلیلی Meta-SWOT استفاده شده است. براساس نتایج به دست آمده مهم ترین عامل در راستای توسعه گردشگری شهری در شهر یزد ثبات سیاسی در سطح کلان است. توجه مسئولین، نیروی انسانی مجرب در گردشگری و سرمایه گذاری از دیگر مواردی است که باید در راستای آن اقدمات مؤثری صورت پذیرد.

Skin Tags are skin-colored, asymptomatic, pedunculated lesions located at the neck, axillae or groin. It affects any age, including infants. We report a 60-year-old Iranian woman with a giant pedunculated skin Tag on the left thigh for 10 years. It measured 10 cm in length and 7 cm in width, distally.
